| 28.04 | En great day It's been a busy day at Nøgne today. The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) came to do a shooting, and at the same time the sake has been bottled. The promised #500 beer has also been brewed, but it's yet not disclosed what style it will be. In addition to all that, it has been announced that Nøgne Ø will make a shochu, a distilled beverage, with local distiller Puntervold. |

There's things happening there as well, as Skarven (The Cormorant) in Tromsø now are adding microbrewed beers to their range of beverages. Atna, Haandbryggeriet, Nøgne Ø and Ægir will all be available when we are closer to Easter. Some Belgian classics will also be available. |

| 22.11 | Sunturn Well, yesterday was the darkest day of the year, and as last year, the guys at Nøgne Ø has brewed Sunturnbrew to celebrate that the days are now getting longer and longer. As there probably won't happen much in the coming two weeks, we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. We've already heard of four new beers coming, so it doesn't seems like it will be boring in 2010 either. |
| 30.11 | Homebrewer days at Nøgne Ø Early this year, lots of homebrewers gathered at Nøgne Ø to participate in the brewing of a batch Saison, and bring home 20 liters of wort and their yeast of choice to see what they could do with it. Early 2010 Nøgne Ø will repeat this, only with Porter this time. Unfortunately only info in Norwegian on this. |

| 17.11 | Julesnadder The low alcohol Christmas beer, Julesnadder, may be a bit hard to find in the stores this year. If your local ICA/Asko store doesn't have it, inform them that they can order it from Vectura. |
| 31.10 | Christmas beer release party Yesterday 170 people gathered at Nøgne Ø to have taste all the Christmas beers from Nøgne. Music and Christmas food were also offered, and the bar was open. A big thanks to the guys at the brewery for doing this every year. The beers we tasted will be in the stores in Norway from next week. |
| 06.10 | Local ingredients - beetroot Nøgne Ø has made a deal with a local farmer to deliver 500kg of beetroot to use in a beer. There hasn't been made a testbrew yet, so what the result will be is hard to say. Dare we predict a purple pale ale? |

| 19.07 | Meet-up at Cardinal in Stavanger If you're in town, drop in at Cardinal on 28.July, where brewers from Nøgne Ø and Stone Brewing in California will show up. Hopefully there will be some Stone beers normally not available in Norway at Cardinal that night. |
| 19.07 | Newsletter Even though the newsletter-guy promised to shut up during the summer holidays, he had to inform on things happening. He writes about Pils, a beer festival in Tromsø, the VANØ six-pack and what's happening at Nøgne these days. (Which shouldn't be much as they are closed for the summer, but still something happens as we've already mentioned.) |
| 11.07 | Pils from Nøgne? We've forgotten to mention it, but Nøgne Ø is actually running their own restaurant now. In Arendal, the nearest town to the brewery, there's a restaurant at the harbor for boat-visitors. This place have been selling the Pils from the local (ex-Carlsberg owned) Arendals Bryggeri. Not this year! Well, some locals got pissed off and started a Facebook protest to have their local pils back. The result is that Kjetil in todays newspaper says they will be selling pils next year. Not Arendals Pils though, but Nøgne Ø will be making their own Czech-style, unfiltered, unpasteurized pils. If you're looking for pictures from the restaurant, check out the link. (Sorry for the Norwegian text.) |

Also, the long waited for Tyttebær has hit the best pubs in the country, along with a very limited number of kegs with La Vanilla Framboise Porter. That one is a special sour edition of the regular Porter, with strawberries. And I almost forgot, Tiger Tripel also found its way out. "There's only one Tiger!" |
| 02.04 | Newsletter We've sent out our newsletter again, this time writing about the Easter beers available, our member's night at Patricks Pub in Kristiansand, Norwegian homebrewers competition and some on Kjeti's education as a sake brewer.
